Which resistance band set is right for me?
Both fitGevity resistance band sets work great and are built to last! The answer to this question comes down to your fitness levels.
For beginners: If you are new to working out, or are getting back into the swing of things we suggest starting with the traditional resistance band set. This set comes with bands ranging from 3 pounds of resistance to 25 pounds of resistance. Plus the bands can be layered to create a custom level of resistance, or to increase resistance past 25 pounds once your fitness levels increase. Basically, this set is great for beginning to expert level of fitness since you have such a large range of resistance available to you. Also, since you are able to layer as many bands together as you like, this set is great for anyone who has stronger and weaker areas.
For those who exercise regularly: If you exercise regularly and are looking for stronger bands we suggest the 41" loop band set. The bands that come with this set range from 10-35 pounds of resistance to 30-50 pounds of resistance, and can also be layered for added resistance. Since these bands are heavier they might be harder to move for a beginner. However, they’ll add an extra challenge for someone who's been working out regularly and wants a heavier set for the road. This set is also great for someone who is looking for pull-up assistance.

Why do you go by Kate?
For those who know me personally, or have worked with me, I usually go by my full name Caitlin. I get a lot of questions about why I decided to switch to "Kate", so here's why.
It all started when I was searching for a domain for a blog I worked on for a short period of time before starting fitGevity. I wanted the blog to be titled "Cait's Collection", but since most assume that Cait is spelt K-A-T-E, I decided to save myself some headaches and go by "Kate".
My goal was to run "Kate's Collection" and "fitGevity" together. To save confusion, I kept the spelling of my name K-A-T-E for "fitGevity". I haven't had time to put full effort into both blogs, so "Kate's Collection" has been put on the back burner for now.
Plus, a little nostalgia...my grandpa refused to call me anything other than "Kate", so I thought the name and spelling was fitting.
That's a bit of a long winded explanation, so for short, it's my pen name :)
